About Me

My name is Arlene Corrigan and I love Learning!    Arlene portrait

I am currently an instructor at Algonquin College in the Ottawa Valley. I have just returned from Malaysia where I was a Principal for the Centre of Teaching for Learning at Taylor’s College, a newly created role to reflect the exciting changes in teaching for learning that our 21st Century learners are inspiring (or demanding).

Previously I was the Principal of Cambridge A Levels, Taylor’s College for 2 years. I have been an educator for many years and began my career in Pembroke, Ontario as a mathematics teacher in the 1980s.  Since then I have been a secondary mathematics department head, vice principal, and principal, before retiring in Pembroke and moving to Kuala Lumpur.  I am now back in the valley, enjoying grandmothering and learning.

I really do love learning and look forward to sharing new learnings here.
